John,

I don't disagree .. the product had promise, but I've been disappointed as well, which is why I discontinued my membership. The idea is really a good one, but it's disappointing when people cannot deliver immediately on launch. It seems they are more interested in money than delivering anything. Personally I don't get it.. I refuse to release my own products until they are all ready -- which may be why nothing seems to make it out the door! ... But I don't understand why it's so hard to just wait 2 weeks, have your system ready and everyone would be happy.

Hi Shaun,

Very refreshing to see someone actually 'reviewing' some of these marketing systems. I think I'm in agreement on many of your reviews, but not on all them. The CB Predators (CBP) is one where I have to almost totally disagree. Thus warranting my first post on your site.

To say their launch didn't go well is certainly an understatement. It is by a considerable margin, the worst launch I've seen from major Guru marketers.

After I had made my way through putting together my first CBP site and had a look at it, I was totally disappointed. The CBP sites are extremely dumbed down and do not take advantage of most of what I've built up in the way of features and functionality in my WP sites. CBP produces very very basic sites.

Of course I can live with basic sites if they make money, and maybe CBP sites will/do make money. That I cannot address. What I cannot live with is the fact that the boys at CBP maintain all your customer data. Oh ya they do! In working with their system I was wondering how in the world are they creating the database Wordpress absolutely has to have to work. It took me awhile to figure it out because they sure don't document that fact anywhere. They also don't like to answer questions about it either.

The fact is, when CBP creates your WP site, they create the database on their site, and it stays on their site even when you opt to host your CBP sites yourself or somewhere else. Any Webmaster, or even business owner for that matter, that is worth their salt understands that customer data is something that is as proprietary as it gets.

I think this should be a huge red flag that someone would have control over another business's customer and not disclose that in any way. That stinks to high places as far as I'm concerned. It would be a whole other matter if they at CBP disclosed this vitally important information and then people could decide if they can live with that or not, which I would not recommend for a multitude of reasons.

Bottom line for all you CBP users, take care to know where your customer data is because you are responsible for the security of that data in the eyes of your customers. Furthermore, it sure would be nice to have a huge list building campaign simply by harvesting your own database tables that contain the customer data of your customer's customers. This is exactly what the boys at CBP are in the position of being able to do. Whether or not they do, I have no idea of course and I should probably give them the benefit of the doubt. All I know is that it would require Mother Theresa type of Sainthood to overcome the temptation to pirate all that wonderful data knowing full-well that nobody is likely to ever know.

Again, great job on this site Shaun!

Leah:

It wasn't the best launch I've seen that's for sure. But in all honesty most launches are like this and I don't really know why. CB Predator isn't really rocket science, and it should be ready to go once the thing was launched to the plublic. The product itself wasn't really affected all that much, but "content" wise it wasn't very good at the beginning, but most things have been addressed pretty quickly after the launch.

Did you notice anything not quite working properly because the Programmers were running behind schedule and the "GURUs" refused to re-schedule the launch so the product wasn't as ready as it should have been.

Apparently they handled the hiccups and potholes with finesse through good customer service. Mmmm... Lemonade, anyone??

Gordon:

I honestly can't remember the cost of the upgrades as I didn't get them, [and btw pretend you are leaving the site to save another $10 ;) ] But they were one time costs, I think under a $100 .. but I cannot honestly remember

Now on the 4 figures a month it depends on 1 thing. Traffic.

Most websites convert at only 1%. Review sites, which is what Clickbank Predator focuses on, will generally convert better. So to make 4 figures (or more) you need traffic to one site or multiple sites.

The good part about CB Pred is that they are having content automatically pumped into the sites that you setup (unqiue and custom written) so that will help you rank in Google over the long term.

Definitely a legitimate and insightful review. Do you have any info as to the cost of the
upgrade(s)? When you say income of 4 figures a month, is that with one site or multiple sites?

Just posted up some screenshots of the site creation section... unauthorized, so I blurred out the important specific details.

I'll post more shots and my first finished site soon.
