How to Find JV-Partners
For a long time I had no list, no products and no prospect of change. Then I realized – as I bought everyone else’s products [[ note to self, write an article about information overload ]] – that the only way to start out in this business is with Joint Ventures.
Sure you can use Adwords, which for some people will be all they need. But especially for information products (aka eBooks) or for software you need to use JV Partners to really explode your profits.
Of course .. as I found out in my google searches, finding JV partners was a long and difficult task. Just do an article search for Joint Venture partners and the number one phrase you’ll see is “long” .. blah that sucked.
Being a software developer I figured I could build a Digg like board to house JV offers and then users can post and accept other projects. Well for now it got backburned because I stumbled upon 2 important resources that already exist. [[ although I still think my idea rocks - and may happen at some point
]]
The first group I found was a secret JV club that was free to join and housed some the biggest names in the IM industry (like Mike Filsaime and Shawn Casey – big). So I decided to create a little site where you can join this free Joint Venture Club.
The second group I found was JV Notify Pro. This is a forum based setup that actually quashed my “digg” idea. Although I personally think the site is a graphical disaster and hard to read, it also houses a large number of JV players. There may be a cost involved but I not 100% on that one.
One last note, if you happened to have bought Mike Filsaime’s Butterfly Marketing program, you get access to their private forum which houses a JV forum.
Happy Hunting!
